Michael Braun

MICHAEL H. BRAUN age 59 of Richmond died unexpectedly December 19, 2008 in his home. Mr. Braun was born August 11, 1949 to James and Margaret (Ruff) Braun. He attended Richmond High School and was a Vietnam veteran serving with the United States Army. After his military duty Mike lived in Atlanta and West Virginia just recently moving back to Richmond this past fall. He worked in production at the Atlanta Journal and Alco Plastics He was a member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed playing cards and pool and working on his computer. He is survived by his parents, James and Peggy Braun of Richmond, daughter, Nicole Braun of Atlanta, GA., sisters, Susan (James) Schulz of Grand Haven, Dottie (John) Clark of Capac, Sandra (David) Moore of St. Clair and Debbie Furestenau of Richmond and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Joel Furestenau on March 18, 2003. Cremation services were handled by Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
