journey while living ended on 2/25/21 in East Lansing, MI.  She was born on 10/3/47 to Jack and Elsie (Daniels) Fryer as youngest daughter in St. Clair Mi.  She grew up and graduated from Richmond High School, Richmond, MI.  Judith is a member of Fraternity of Eagles and has enjoyed worshipful fellowship with the Salvation Army, St. Paul's Lutheran and intriqued by faiths and journeys of others.  She has volunteered as peer support and helped to support board members and expansion to other non profit organizations before her relocating to East Lansing from Tawas in 2000.  She is survived by her two daughters, Jessica V. McLarty and Jaime C. (McLarty) Schlack with husband Brent, two grandchildren, Lillian and Evan, siblings Clayton (Carol) Fryer & children, nieces & nephews Molly, Michael and Mark, Bob (Sue)Fryer & children nephews Zack & Josh) and Jill (Chuck)Dodge nieces Vicki (John)Proctor, Kris (Dave Duran) and godson, Michael Kurkowski.  Godson John T. Fryer, and niece Jennifer (Gino) Barbre, Betsy, Brad Fryer and Brian (Beth) Fryer.  After beginning a career in clerical, she and girls' father relocated back to greater Detroit from New Jersey while the children were young.  She was a godmother, grandmother, aunt, sister, mother, daughter, granddaughter, friend, sponsor, donor, volunteer, coach, organizer, cheerleader, confidant.  Judy can be remembered for her many handicrafts and offerings of homemade gifts because she loved to give, be thoughtful, laugh, live a little, crochet, knit, invent and create.

A Memorial Service will be held so friends and family can share their goodbyes at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation from 12:00 p.m. until the time of Service, Saturday, August 21st, 2021 at Rewalt Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. Following we will put her ashes to rest at St. Michaels Cemetery, Richmond, MI.
