Henry Frederick Schroeder III

Henry Schroeder III, 94, of Richmond, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 27th. He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Jacqueline (Whittaker) who died in August of 2020. Together they had 7 children; Julie, Sandra (Michael) Miskus, Darlene (Thomas) Stern, Henry IV, Hope (Timothy) Fair, Terry and Robert. He was also blessed with 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren (with one on the way) and 3 great great grandchildren. He was especially proud of having 4 generations born on his birthday which is Halloween. Another proud family dynamic is having 3 great great grandchildren making 5 generations 3 times. He was sure to tell anyone who would listen. He was active with Richmond Lodge #187 F.A.M. for over 60 years being a life member. He served as their secretary for over 20 years. He was an avid bowler for many years especially with Jacqueline on mix leagues. He was retired from Dupont Paint which was the Ford Paint Plant in Mt. Clemens. He was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Richmond.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the First United Church of Christ, 68651 S. Forest Ave, Richmond, MI 48062.

He will be cremated and inurned with Jacqueline at the Richmond Mausoleum.
