Edward Jerome Kuznia

Edward Jerome Kuznia, 81, of Richmond Twp., passed away unexpectedly at McLaren Macomb Hospital Friday, December 6, 2019. Ed was born May 28, 1938 to the late Edward and Irene Kuznia. Loving husband of the late Susan Kuznia; cherished father of Edward (Susan) Kuznia, Laura (Marcus) Young and Nathan (Hannah) Kuznia; special grandfather of Goode, Irvin, Olivia, Maxwell, Myles and Sincere. Also, survived by his siblings, Irene (Robert) Valice, John Kuznia and Raymond (Maria) Kuznia . Preceded in death by his son Daniel Kuznia.
Ed proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, taught at Rogers Junior High and was Vice Principle at John F. Kennedy Junior School before retiring in 1990. He later taught at St. Peter's Lutheran School. Ed was very active at St. Peter's Lutheran church, loved coaching football and soccer, gardening, building model ships, making art and writing.
Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service Monday, December 9, 2019 at St. peter's Lutheran Church, 67055 Gratiot Ave, Richmond, MI 48062.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
