Edward Jerore Obituary

Edward Ralph Jerore, 89, of Columbus Twp., passed away peacefully March 19, 2024 at Medilodge of Richmond, after a battle with Dementia. Edward was born December 13, 1934 to the late Archie and Lucy Jerore. He served 3 years in the U.S. army as a tank operator. After his honorable discharge, he married the love of his life, Sally Parsons in 1959, and went on to have two children, Michelle and Dane. Edward found work in various jobs such as sewing machine repair, parking lot installer, and sign fabricator, where he was part of installing the Hudsons Department Store Building Christmas tree. He eventually settled into work as a tool and die welder for Pontiac and Chrysler, before retiring from Chrysler in 1996.  After his retirement, Edward enjoyed welding and metalwork, trips to casinos, going to the movies and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Ed will always be remembered as someone who could make and figure out how to do anything, and as a man who was always self-less and willing to help anyone. He always lived his life with a positive attitude, and treated everyone he knew and met with respect. Because of those qualities, Edward was very well liked and respected, and he will be greatly missed by everyone he knew. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Sally Jerore; Loving children Michelle (Michael) Stankovich and Dane Jerore; His 3 grandchildren Kevin (Claire Daugherty) Stankovich, Kristy (Justin Piper) Stankovich and Kyle Jerore. Also, he is survived by his siblings, Jackie Denning, Leo Jerore and Shirley Wilkins.
