Doris Ann Suess

Doris Ann Suess, 76, of Casco, passed away in her home due to an extended illness, Thursday, April 28, 2016. Doris was born July 21, 1939 to Amiel and Mary (Van Assche) Debusschere. She married Lloyd Suess on November 12, 1960. Through the years she worked at Mt. Clemens Pottery, Eberhardts and was a homemaker. Doris had a tremendous faith in God, was a member of the St. Augustine Altar Sodality, and treasured spending time with her Family. She was also a "kid at heart" and loved children, ice cream and making apple pies. Doris was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and a member of the St. Augustine Altar Sodality. She also loved country music, trips to Nashville and going by the water in St. Clair. She is survived by her loving husband Lloyd Suess. Her caring children Brenda (Greg) Rushlow, Joe (Dora) Suess and Kathy (Jerry) Mantey. Grandchildren Kayla, Brendan and Josh. Also her furry friend Toby. Doris is preceded in death by her parents Amiel and Mary (Van Assche) Debusschere. Her siblings Donald, August, Amiel Jr., Robert and Joe DeBusschere, Leona Churchill and Mary Beebe. Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, May 1, at Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond 48062. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, May 3, at 10:00 a.m. with visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 68035 Main St, Richmond 48062.
