Thomas Allen Dempsey

Thomas Allen Dempsey, 90, of Lenox Twp., passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side, Tuesday, November 24, 2020. Thomas was born July 11, 1930 to the late Henry and Catherine Dempsey.
Loving husband of the late Melissa Dempsey; cherished father of Thomas (Debra) Dempsey, Donna Jones, Valerie Dempsey and Linda (William) Pistorio; caring grandfather of Shane, Justin, Melissa Grace, Heather (Mark), Derek (Annette), Brad, Candace (Mario), Melissa Marie (Mark), Gina, Cherie (Chris), Daniel (Hannah), Dustin and Brandon; great grandfather of 20. Also, survived by his brother-in-law, Al Ladd, sister-in-law, Lee King, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his daughter, Anne Parwey, son-in-law, Thomas Jones and siblings, Rita Engquist, Robert Dempsey, Patricia DeGrazia and Richard Dempsey.
Thomas proudly served his country in the Korean War from 1951-1953 in the 1st Bn, 15th Inf Reg. in the United States Army. Thomas was a collector and an outdoorsman. He collected coins, stamps, guns, antiques, cars and enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and farming.
Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 4, 2020 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. with a visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass Saturday, December 5, 2020 at St. Mary Mystical Rose Parish, 24040 Armada Ridge Rd, Armada, MI 48005.
Memorial donations may be made to "Wishes of the Family".
