Ronald "Chuck" Christian

RONALD "CHUCK" CHRISTIAN age 78 of St. Clair Township died Tuesday, January 27, 2009 in Medilodge of St. Clair after a brief illness. Mr. Christian was born March 13, 1930 in Ontario, Canada to the late Roy and Edna (Trotechaud) Chretein. He married Mary Spencer in Royal Oak, MI. on July 10, 1971. Mary died on December 18, 1993. He married Betty McClure in Rockport, Texas on September 27, 2002. Ron retired as a maintenance person from Chrysler Corporation in 1993. He was an avid restorer of antique cars and enjoyed boating. He is survived by his wife, Betty, son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Laura Christian of Bruce Township, step-daughter, Christina Bonam of Texas, sister, Edna Fry of CA., step-sister, Rita Hollans of Shelby Township, six grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Noella and siblings. A funeral service will be on Friday, January 30, 2009 at 10:00am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Gerhardt Doroh, pastor of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Richmond will officiate. Burial will be in Richards Cemetery, Richmond Twp.
