Robert Schoenberg

ROBERT RALPH SCHOENBERG 79 of Prescott, Michigan formerly of Richmond died Monday, October 1, 2007 in West Branch Regional Medical Center. Mr. Schoenberg was born February 21, 1928 in Mount Clemens to the late Arthur and Elsie (Ploetz) Schoenberg. He married Dorothy Frost in Richmond on May 23, 1953. Mrs. Schoenberg died January 25, 1998. Bob worked in construction with Kaltz Excavating. He retired in 1990. He was a former member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Richmond and enjoyed fishing and playing Bingo. He is survived by his children, Robert of Prescott, Joseph (Donna) of Brockway, Timothy of Yale, Jaqueline of Columbus, Douglas (Kimberly) of Richmond, Barry of Columbus, Sharon Carene of Waterford and Donna Cobb of Florida, fourteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, siblings, Leona Zeilesch of Lupton, Fred (Mary) of Gladwin, Bernice Denson of Reno, NV., Lorraine Englen of Saline and sister-in-law, Lorraine Schoenberg of Prescott. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Kimberly in August of 2005, granddaughter, Dawn Marie Schoenberg in 1982, great-grandson, Justin Cobb in 2005 and siblings, Elvera Doucet and Harvey and Marvin Schoenberg. A funeral service was on Thursday, October 4, 2007 in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Sherry Schacht officiated. Burial was in Christian Memorial Cemetery in Rochester Hills.
