Penny Lou Spicer, 76, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2025. Penny was born in Ohio on August 5, 1948 to the late Warden Ball and Juanita (Metz) Ball-Long. Penny was a long-time resident of Casco Township, but for the last 10 years she made her home in Holland, Michigan. Throughout Penny’s life she spent her years working in all different areas. She held many different positions in several factories, then explored the nail technician world, and ended her working career in the medical field as a medical assistant at an urgent care. She enjoyed shopping, putting together puzzles, and watching movies; scary movies were her favorite. Penny never turned down a sweet treat and loved classic muscle cars! Penny is survived by her two children, Richard Yaklin Jr. and Theresa Snider; four grandsons, Jordan Yaklin, Brandon Yaklin, Gavin Snider and Blake Snider; 2 sisters, Patty (Ray Lamb) Reece and Laura Lee. In addition to her parents, Penny was preceded in death by her husband, William Spicer; son in law, Darin Snider; three brothers, George, David, and Floyd; and a sister, Lillie Collier.
