Patrick H. Thompson

PATRICK HENRY THOMPSON age 57, a ten year resident of Casco Twp. died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 28, 2009 in Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. Mr. Thompson was born March 19, 1952 in Detroit to the late George and Catherine (Craig) Thompson. He married Elaine Bertossi in Roseville, MI. on October 4, 1975. Pat graduated from Fraser High School in 1970 and earned an Associate Degree from Henry Ford Community College. He worked as a die maker at Chrysler Corporation, Sterling Stamping Plant until he had to take a medical retirement in 2001. He served with the United States Marine Corps during the Viet Nam War. He enjoyed doing all types of home improvements and was a Keystone builder. He is survived by his wife, Elaine, siblings, George Thomspon of Shelby, Carol Martin of Shelby, Ronald (Debbie) Thompson of Chesterfield, mother-in-law, Phyllis Bertossi of Casco, in-laws, Jane (Ron) Caldwell of Richmond, Cheryl (Dave) Wright of Richmond and Steve (Eileen) Bertossi of Washington, nieces and nephews, Nick, Ryan, Sally, Debbie and David Thompson, Becky (Paul) Amesse, Brittney Nelson and Aiden Nelson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Larry Bertossi on January 1, 2005. A funeral service will be on Friday, July 31, 2009 at 7:30pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Woodrow Nelson will officiate.
