PANSY SNODGRASS 87 of Richmond died Wednesday, January 13, 2010 in her home after an extended illness. Mrs. Snodgrass was born May 20, 1922 in Phillipi, West Virginia to the late Isaiah and Huldah (Minard) Mayle. She married Paul Snodgrass in Detroit in April of 1956. Mr. Snodgrass died April 1, 1980. Pansy worked as a waitress at the Kresge's store in Grosse Pointe for thirty years. She was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Richmond and was a good mom and wonderful grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Janice and Gene Wiley of Richmond and Linda and James Danielski of Plymouth, her sister, Lucille Dalton of Louisville, Ohio, grandchildren, Sandra Hoole, Michelle (Ron) Ward, Kenneth Danielski and Anthony (Cindy) Danielski and great-grandchildren, Steven and Amanda Hoole, Brittany and Hannah Ward and Ivan and Julia Danielski. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers. A funeral service will be Monday, January 18, 2010 at 10:00 am in the Community Baptist Church in Richmond. Pastor Bryan Wise will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Fraser. Visiting will be Sunday from 3 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond and Monday from 9:30 to 10:00am in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
