Mary Ottenwalder

MARY OTTENWALDER age 88 of Lenox died Tuesday, December 2, 2008 in her home after a long illness. She was born September 14, 1920 in Cohose, NY. to the late Antonio and Antonitta (Kolek) Kolak. She married Hector Ottenwalder in New York in 1940. Mary retired as a quality control manager for General Electric in 1982 where she worked on the Gemini Missile Head. She enjoyed knitting sweaters, doing ceramics and puzzles. She is survived by her children, Pam (Dick) Hanson of AZ., Karen (Phil) Michaels of Lenox, Lester (Diane) Ottenwalder of Lenox and Dennis (Elizabeth) Ottenwalder of CA, a brother, Valentine Kolak of S.C., 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hector on December 3, 1986, her son Hector Jr. in 1955, her sister, Josephine Roman on January 19, 2008 and grandson, Kenneth Michaels in 1969.
