Margaret Rose Wolf, 94 of Richmond died Wednesday, March 11, 2009 in St. John River District Hospital, East China. She was born August 26, 1914 in Detroit to the late Eugene and Margaret (Miller) Scherrer. Mrs. Wolf owned and operated Diamond Laundry & Cleaners for over thirty years. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond and enjoyed crocheting, quilting, gardening, baking, and mostly spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter Delores Sparby of Richmond, grandchildren: Christine (Tim) Arnold of Memphis, Cynthia Shelly of Marine City, Daniel (Renee) Sparby of Columbus Twp., and Cheryl (Scott) Kleinhans of Columbus Twp., and ten great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother Henry Scherrer and sister Mary Krause. A funeral Mass will be said Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 10:00 am in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond. Fr. Joseph Plawecki will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Richmond. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8 pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:00 am in the church. A rosary service will be Friday at 7:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be directed towards the wishes of the family.
