Lucille M. Deidrich

LUCILLE MARY DEIDRICH age 95 of Richmond Township died Tuesday, August 7, 2012 in her home after an extended illness. Mrs. Deidrich was born February 7, 1917 in Detroit to the late William and Rose (Schuetz) Jahn. She married Albert Deidrich on June 7, 1949 in St. Augustine Church in Richmond, MI. Mr. Deidrich died May 31, 2001. Lucille attended Assumption Grotto Church and School and graduated in 1933 from St. Mary's Commercial School in Detroit, MI. She was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, knitting, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren. For many years she helped to operate the family dairy farm. She is survived by her children; Albert (Brenda) of Waltz, MI., Susan (Mike) Deidrich-Kulpa of Woodbridge, VA., Sally Deidrich of Richmond and Donald Deidrich of Richmond, grandchildren; Jessica (Patrick) DeCook-Byrne of Indianapolis, IN., Holly DeCook of Harrison Twp., MI. and Christine Deidrich of Waltz, MI., great-grandchildren; Catherine and Victoria Byrne. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Deidrich in 1966 and siblings; Ray, Lawrence, James and Anthony Jahn and Marcella Deigel and Gertrude Schweder. A funeral Mass will be on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 9:30 am in St. Augustine Church in Richmond. Reverend Joseph Horn, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery. Visiting will be Thursday from 3 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Henry Ford Hospice.
