Joann L. Decker

JO ANN LYNN DECKER age 56 a lifelong resident of Lenox Township died Saturday, December 4, 2010 in Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. Mrs. Decker was born June 24, 1954 in Mount Clemens to Edward and Katherine (Kulman) Fistler. She married William Decker in New Haven on May 25, 1975. JoAnn graduated from New Haven High School in 1972 and was a member of Shepherd's Gate Lutheran Church in Shelby Township. She worked as a greenhouse manager at Theut's Flower Barn in Richmond and St. Clair for the past twelve years. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed crafting. She is survived by her husband, William, sons; James, Steven and Bryan, parents;
Edward and Katherine Fistler of Lenox Township, mother-in-law; Dolores (Bob Bell) Clark of Harrison Township, father-in-law; John (MaryAnn) Decker of Harrison Township, siblings, Sharon (Charles) Harmon of Armada Township, Diane (Thomas) McKiernan of Richmond, Edward Fistler Jr. of Emmett, James Fistler of Macomb and Robert Fistler of Chesterfield. A funeral service will be Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 10:30am in Shepherd's Gate Lutheran Church in Shelby Township. Reverend Jon Trinklein, pastor will officiate. Visiting will be on Monday from 3 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond and Tuesday from 10 to 10:30am in the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the JoAnn Decker Benefit in care of the PNC Bank in New Haven, MI.
