James Edward Stevens

James Edward Stevens, 91, passed away December 5, 2021 at McLaren Macomb Hospital. James was born September 17, 1930 to the late Frank and Teresa Stevens. James is survived by his sister-in-law, Theresa Stevens, brother-in-law, David Bickmann, 32 nieces and nephews and friends, Russ and Bill in Decatur, IL. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Charles, Richard (Helen), Robert, Frank (Rosalee) and Donald (Mary Jane) Stevens, sisters, Margaret Bickmann and Lois (James) Baker. James graduated from St. Augustine Catholic School in 1949 then went on to graduate from the University of Detroit Mercy. He proudly served his country by serving in the United States Navy and then the United States Air Force. He was a Submariner in the Navy and an Electrical Technician in the Air Force. James retired from the Federal Aviation Administration where he worked as an Electrical Technician his whole career.
Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 A.M. with a visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass Monday, December 13, 2021 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 68035 Main St, Richmond, MI 48062.
