James Richard Bauman

James Richard Bauman, 90, of Richmond, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Medilodge of Richmond. James was born February 13, 1935 to the late Alfred and Anna Bauman. James is survived by his children, Peggy Weeks and Ricky (Martha) Bauman, grandchildren, Jamie (Kris), Jason and John (Beth Ann) Haslem, Brendan Weeks and Matthew (Charlotte) Bauman, great grandchildren, Ashley (Josh) Williams, Cameron (Hannah), Cristian, Bailey, Brookelynn, Tyler and Allison Haslem, Cecilia and Clara Bauman, great great grandchild, Hudson Haslem, and siblings, Ronald (Diane) Bauman and Sandra (Max) Luenser. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Elaine Bauman, grandson, James Bauman and siblings, Alfred (Louella) and Donald (Sandra) Bauman, Marie (Paul) Wagner and Dolores (Paul) Sprader. James was a custodian at Richmond High School for 23 years and worked at Co-op of Muttonville for 46 years. James was often referred to as “Jim from co-op”. James also had a special talent for drawing, lettering signs and pinstriping.
Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2025 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 12:00 p.m. with a visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062.
