Helen Wanamaker

HELEN C. WANAMAKER age 99 of Richmond died Thursday, December 4, 2008 in Medilodge of Richmond. Mrs. Wanamaker was born May 27, 1909 in Port Huron, Michigan to the late John and Jean (Carneyhan) Campbell. She married Richard Wanamaker in Port Huron. Mr. Wanamaker died in 1970. Helen worked as a secretary for Winkleman's clothier for thirty years. She was a teacher of china painting and belonged to the Ladies Aide society of her church. She is survived by her children, Gordon MacDonald of Chicago and Carol (William) Capozzo of Richmond, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and special niece, Lynette Vacholsky of Almont. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Keith and John Campbell. Cremation services were handled by Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond.
