GERTRUDE LANGMESSER age 102 formerly of Richmond died Friday, January 13, 2012 in the Romeo Nursing Center. Ms. Langmesser was born December 2, 1909 in Detroit to the late Michael and Pauline (Okra) Langmesser. She was a former member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Detroit and worked as a nanny for many years. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by her brother, Bernard Langmesser in 1990. A private family service was Monday, January 16, 2012. Reverend John Nedumcheril, assistant priest at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond officiated Burial was in St. Michael Cemetery.
