Ethel Julia Blanchfield

Ethel Blanchfield, 82, formerly of Union Lake, died Friday, May 25, 2018. Ethel was born in Detroit to George and Julia Busko on December 8, 1935. She married Jude "Ted" Blanchfield on May 4, 1957. He preceded her in death in 2004.
Ethel loved life and had a quick and funny sense of humor. She loved her family most of all, followed by her love for many pets, Tiger baseball, Red Wings, soap operas, books, movies and T.V. She loved getting to know her friends in her children's lives and became so close with them that they also called her mom.
She is survived by her #1 son, Sla baby (Steve) Zenero, P-Y (Kevin) Trahan, Yellow hair (George) Nicora, Bum baby (Brian) Niebauer; grandchildren, Amanda, Bryan, Keith, Katherine, Matthew, Allison, Wolfgang, Sydney and 6, soon to be 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by her Uncle Ray Sharrer, and especially dear Aunt Theresa Sharrer, two grandchildren Jaclyn and Samantha and a great grandbaby.
She will be missed sorely by her family and friends and thought of daily.
