EMBERLY NORMA JOHNSON, our beloved daughter, age 35 of St. Clair Shores and formerly of New Baltimore died in her home on July 22, 2008. She was born July 26, 1972 in Mount Clemens, Michigan to Edward Neil and Alice (Voigt) Johnson. She graduated from Anchor Bay High School in 1990, earned an associate degree from Macomb County Community College and worked as a sales representative for an insurance company. Emberly was an amateur radio operator with a call sign of N8EHV. She adored her eight year old son John and enjoyed taking him to his baseball games and school activities. She is survived by her son, John Carnaghi, parents, Edward Neil and Alice Johnson of Kalkaska, her brother, Edward Johnson of Prudenville, father of her son, Joe Carnaghi of Chesterfield, lifelong friend, Danielle Bolman, close friend, Michael Marcum and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward and Norma Johnson and Raymond and Henrietta Voigt. A funeral service will be on Monday, July 28, 2008 at 11:00 am in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Peters, Michigan. Reverend Melvin Hiler, pastor of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Chesterfield will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery. Visiting will be on Sunday, July 27th from 3 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Memorial contributions may be directed to Edward Neil Johnson for an education fund for her son, John.
