Concetta Veronica O'Brien

Concetta “Tina” Veronica O’Brien, of Hazel Park, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2022 surrounded by the love of her family.  Tina was born July 18, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of Manuel and Concetta (nee Fazi) Nieto.

Tina worked for many years as a clerk in the mortgage department at Bank of America.  She was fiercely devoted to her children and family and her greatest joy in life was spending time with her cherished grandchildren.

Tina is survived by her children, Jacquelyn Nicole O’Brien, John Robert O’Brien and Joseph Michael O’Brien; grandchildren, John Luke O’Brien and Aubree Jade Gomez-O’Brien; siblings, Angela (Dale) Leroux, Domingo (Tina Smith) Nieto, Laura (John) Murphy and the late Gina (Greg) Donnellon; nephews, Brian Leroux, Austin Murphy and Devon Leroux; and former husband, Kevin O’Brien.  She was predeceased by her father, Manuel; mother, Concetta; and step-mother, Joanne Nieto.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Tina beginning at 12:00 noon on Sunday, September 25 at the Fraser Lions Banquet Hall, 34540 Utica Road, Fraser.  Memorial Service will begin at 1:00 PM followed by a Memorial Luncheon.  Interment will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit.
