Clara Bellish

CLARA GENE BELLISH age 76 of Holland, formerly of New Haven died Friday, February 2, 2007 in Holland, MI. She was born November 17, 1930 in Providence, KY to the late Lynn and Embry (Moody) Ryan. She married Michael Bellish in East Detroit in 1958. Mr. Bellish died November 24, 1986. Gene graduated from New Haven High School in 1948 Mrs. Bellish enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, reading and supporting children in competitive hockey and roller skating. She is survived by her children, Dawn and Danny Benedict of Holland and Michael and Danee Bellish of Warren, son-in-law, Chris Roy of Baldwin, siblings, Lynn Ryan of Lenox, Ralph and Alice Ryan of Lenox, Shirley Harlan of Chesterfield, Charles and Kelly Ryan of Roseville, Brenda Ryan of Harrison Township, Sheila and John Winarski of Fraser and John Ryan of Sterling Heights, and grandchildren, Dustin and Danielle Benedict and Dereck, Jeremy and Danie Lynn Hall-Bellish, and Ashley Roy. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Wendy Roy on July 13, 2005. A funeral service will be on Monday, February 5, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend William Farina, pastor of Bethel Christian Church in Warren will officiate. Burial will be in Centennial Cemetery in New Haven. Visiting will be Sunday from 1 to 5pm and Monday from 10 to 11am. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Hospice of Holland.
