Betty Both

Betty Jane Both, 76 of Chesterfield Twp. died Tuesday, January 9, 2007 in Mt. Clemens Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Armada, Michigan on July 4, 1930 to the late Ralph and Mable (White) Wells. She married Marvin Both in New Haven on June 18, 1966. She worked as a nurse at Martha T. Berry Medical Care Facility and as a private duty nurse. Mrs. Both enjoyed reading, walking and mostly spending time with her family. She is survived by her children Robert (Shannon) Both of Chesterfield, Mark (Kari) Weaver of Lenox Twp., Terri (Scott) Alpervitz of Smith Creek and Carole (Bruce) Grewe of Richmond; step-children; Harold (Jenny) Both of St. Clair, and Del Mae (Robert) McDaniel of Yale, siblings: Annalee Frost, Edna Peters, Della Faye Jackson, Joan Ray, Mary Lou Snyder, Louise Perry, Lewis Wells, Diane Lawrence, Sarah Treece, John Wells, and Kathy Kosal, eighteen grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on March 27, 2001 and her sister Dorothy Zieman. A funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond, Rev. Jennifer Long will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 8 and Friday from 10 to 10:30. Burial will be in Meade cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be directed to Hospice of Michigan.
