Randy Nichter Obituary
Randy Joseph Nichter, 57, of Richmond, went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, May 11th, 2020. Randy was born to Thomas and Betty Nichter March 18, 1963. Loving husband of Lisa Nichter; Beloved father of Katherine (Jacob) Kramer, Hannah Nichter, Emily Nichter, and Zachary Nichter; Cherished grandpa of Blake Kramer.
Randy was the type of person who could light up the room just by walking in. His sense of humor was unparalleled and could make any situation better with one of his jokes or quotes.
Randy entered the Air Force in 1985 where he became a security specialist. During active duty he was given the opportunity to travel to abroad. He was very proud to have been a veteran. Upon returning, Randy attended Oakland University where he received a Bachelor of Science.
He went on to meet the love of his life, Lisa, and settled down in Richmond where they raised their four loving children and dog, Buddy, his best friend. Randy enjoyed spending time with his family, playing games, relaxing on the pool deck, golfing, and going on adventures.
In addition to his wife and children, Randy is survived by his mother, Betty Nichter, Sister, Kim (Ken) Ouellette, Brother, Mike (Sue) Nichter, Sister-In-Law, Jennifer Nichter, Father-In-Law, Alan Jenkins, Sister-In-Law, Alison (Kevin) Bergeon, Brother-In-Law, Todd Jenkins and many nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his father, Thomas Nichter, Brother Mark Nichter, and Mother-In-Law, Sharon Jenkins.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. with a visitation from 12:00 p.m. until the time of Service Saturday, May 16, 2020 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 67055 Gratiot Ave, Richmond, MI 48062. Burial at Richmond Cemetery will follow Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to "Wishes of the Family". 36010 Beier St. Richmond, MI 48062
Death was not Covid-19 related, but you will need to bring a mask and maintain social distancing while at the church.
