Mary Fistler Obituary

Mary Lou Fistler, 75, a lifelong resident of Richmond, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 30, 2020. Mary was born January 23, 1945 to the late Irvin William Almstadt and Effie Mae (Nolan) Almstadt. She was married to Milton Edwin Fistler on April, 24, 1965. Mary was a devoted and caring wife of strong faith. She enjoyed gardening and was blessed with many artistic abilities that she shared with the world. While she served many roles during her lifetime, she loved and excelled at none more than that of mother and proud grandmother.
Surviving are her two sons, Mark (Rene) Fistler and Matthew (Diane) Fistler, six grandchildren, Trevor, Kaitlin, Brianna, Scott, Alaina and Jenna Fistler; sisters Cherlynn (John) Brant and Darlene (James) Burden.
Please join the family to visit, share memories and honor Mary from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2020 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 67055 Gratiot Ave, Richmond, MI 48062. Pastor Mark Haller will be officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
Death was not Covid related.
Covid guidelines will be followed at the funeral home and church.
