Janet Mae Kaufman

Janet Mae Kaufman, 76, of Casco, passed away at home with family by her side Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Janet was born to the late Russell and Mae Hartway August, 5, 1941. Loving mother of Lislee (Kenny) Burns, Jamie (Tim) McConnell and Benjamin (Brooke) Kaufman; Father of her children Bernie Kaufman; Caring grandmother of Madison, Madison, Morgan and Chloe. Also, survived by her siblings Fredrick (Susan) Hartway, Mary Goike and Linda Hartway, and Brother-in-Law Darwin Schroeder. Preceded in death by her sister Carol Schroeder, brother Richard Hartway and Brother-in-Law Bud Goike. Janet enjoyed spending time with her family and also sewing, baking, cooking, coloring, and gardening.
Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday, November 20, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 5322 Palms Rd, Casco, MI 48064.
