Grace Marie Shore

Grace M. Shore, 71, of Macomb, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020. Beloved mother of Kelley Lovati, Brian (Kristen) Black and Danielle (Kevin) Baxter. Proud grandmother of Joseph Lovati, Jr, Gianna Lovati, Christopher Black and Stephanie Black. Grace was known for her contributions to Macomb County, for mentoring and inspiring other leaders, her joy for life, and her perseverance through personal and professional challenges- including three battles with breast cancer. Kelley, Brian, and Danielle were blessed beyond belief to be able to call her ‘Mom'. Grace dedicated her life to her three lovely children and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John Shore; brother, Jim (Nancy) Schiro, and parents Dan (Ann) Schiro. She spent nearly four decades being an advocate for Macomb County businesses, charities, and individuals through her work and leadership of the Macomb County Chamber of Commerce. She was honored to be on the Executive Committee for SANG Base Community Council, Detroit Zoo Board, and the Advancing Macomb Board. Her commitment to Macomb County and support of the military and defense community was second only to her family. She had a smile and laugh that was contagious. Her passion for helping anyone in need was unparalleled. This world lost a light of positivity and infectious joy. During this difficult time, the family will wait until a safer date in the future to celebrate Grace's life.
